GenVibe - Community for Pontiac Vibe Enthusiasts

So this is my second Vibe...and BOTH have had problems with the Temp control cable breaking loose from its "Clip" that holds it snug behind the dash causing it to .... be non operational!
What up with THAT!
Try as I might, I cannot locate the clip that this cable goes into that holds it in place. Because of this, it will not open/close the vent door as it is just flopping around back there when I turn the dial. It IS connected to the dial itself...but there is also a clip that this cable is supposed to be attached to that holds it snugly in place.
Anyone have a pic of the cable routing? I looked for hrs on the net to no avail.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I suggest you check your local junk yard - for both the clip and to look at the cable routing.

You dont sound like a broken record Ive never heard that b4... and I would except Vibe/Matrix run so long I have YET to see even ONE at any local boneyard!
