Hey there, just wondering if anyone's put one of those cheap eBay android Chinese-made double-DIN GPS units in their vibe. Anyone have a review to share?

If you search google, I think some people have tried them. Not in Vibes though. I think you'd do better to get something from a reputable brand. Some people have complained that they didn't read CD's, and in most cases there was at least one thing not working as intended. In my experience with chinese-made Android tablets, there's a lot of compromise as far as hardware and CPU are involved, and they end up falling way short of bigger-name offerings.

Well, it's not a dedicated GPS unit, but I just installed a Pyle PLDNV78I in my new-to-me 2008 Vibe. Will report back after a few weeks of use on how well it works.

That'd be great if you could post your results afterwards. The reviews of that unit on Amazon are spotty, to say the least.

Your better off getting a Pioneer App Radio. They are pretty inexpensive depending if you get the App Radio 1,2 or 3.
