I've had my vibe since the fall of 2010, I am the second owner the first being my mom who I bought the vibe from when she got a new Corolla.

Only have the one picture on my computer at the moment, I'll be taking more this weekend.

Welcome, nice Vibe you have there.

I am also looking into that same intake, but may option for the CAI.

I am also dealing with the same issue on the radio, wish they would have done a recall on these.

Thanks guys, tackled the painting of the engine cover using standard high heat paint over the weekend, may still add a clear coat to it but not sure what would be best. Just waiting on the overlays now.

Installed my new SRI yesterday, works great and I love it. Definitely recommend dealing with Cosmo racing, shipping was only $17.00, prices are fair and it got here in 2 business days. I really like how you can't really hear it unless you try to I never liked the idea of being able to hear my car from a few blocks down the street.

Still waiting on the overlays from Grafxwerks, then I'm not sure what to do next, may just sit back for a little bit and think about what I really want to see get done and start putting aside the funds.

Your Vibe looks good! Nice to see another Maritimer, and that's quite a nice wish list you've got going on there. Check out my Garage thread, you might find some more ideas for mods that won't break the bank. Keep us updated on the progress, and if you've got any questions don't be shy!

Agreed, just not sure what to go with as of right now.

I say go with anything metallic, maybe silver? Blue would also look very nice since your intake is blue. I think that's the winner. VHT makes some engine paints in a variety of colors, a lot of them metallic. A strut tower bar would also look right at home in that bay.

I'll take another look at the VHT, I was looking at getting some spray to red out my taillights aswell so if i get lucky ill order them both together when I can afford to, trying to pay for school at the moment so funds are tight, thought about a strut before. is there a noticeable difference in the handling at all or would I be better off waiting until I have new springs?

Someone who's got a strut bar might be better equipped to tell you that, but from what I've read they don't do much on their own except make the engine bay prettier. One of the best things you could do for handling, along with a drop, is a rear sway bar. I think Progress and Hotchkis make them. IIRC thebarber had some lowering springs for sale, but you'd have to check with him to see if they've sold yet or not.

Yeah, I looked into it and it's main purpose would be the look of it, which I agree it would look nice.
Being as I'm on a tight budget for school I think I might set my priorities for the winter as:

1: Strut bar, not sure if TRD or DC Sports
2: Springs
3: Rear Sway bar
