manual locks

Hi Vibe Lounge,
Recently bought a 2003 Vibe - 3rd owner- that's been very well cared for. 168K, clean, rust-free, very smooth-running. I'm pretty pleased with it, especially at $4K! The only glitch I've found is with the manual locks. Driver door will unlock with the key (clockwise) but won't lock with the key. Passenger door will lock (clockwise) but won't turn to unlock. The hatch door lock won't turn either way. To lock/unlock the hatch I have to pop the panel inside and pull/push the rod from the lock to latch. You can imagine how much fun it is crawling over luggage and whatnot via the backseat! I've used some Krown lube in the keyhole to no avail, and frankly, given the overall condition and the ease with which the front locks turn I can't see them being particularly corroded.
This isn't a big problem out here in the country, but I usually want to lock up in the big city. Any suggestions, advice would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Rockinghammer
