Washed the GT for the 4th time and said goodbye...

for a few months.
My daughter is taking summer classes at Texas A&M and since her boyfriend will not be there, her mom wanted her to have a car to get around. So I had to volunteer my Vibe for her to use this summer. Luckily since my wife works for the school district, she will be off from June 6th until mid August, so I will use her Equinox on the days she does not need it.
Now I just have to get busy and replace the motor in my Mustang soon so I can drive it again!

Wow that's clean... it looks great! Hopefully she'll take care of it. And when your wife complains about you taking her Equinox, just use it as an excuse to get the motor swap done on your Mustang!

Thanks, and I have done practically nothing to the car except wash it real good 4 times since I brought it home 18 months ago. It needs a clay bar and wax job, and I still need to get the front bumper repainted and wet sand some scratches out of the clear coat. I have a feeling my daughter will be wanting to keep it though. At least the car will have a nice summer break from being driven 40+ miles every day.

That is definitely a good looking vehicle. Your daughter should definitely enjoy the sleek lines and reliability of the Vibe.

That pic of your Vibe must have had just the right amount of light to give it a DARKER appearance of the Sport Red Metallic finish

You remind the young lady how lucky she is to be driving a classic

Also, I've yet to see any 09-10 Vibe GT WITHOUT a sunroof and yet yours fits that description

And to think you're in a warm climate pretty much year round where the benefits of a sunroof would be welcomed. Just making an observation here. FYI ..... I don't think you'll get the Vibe back. Start shopping for another one

The Vibe looks great Thomas! Just as Tim said, I don't think you'll be getting it back

!
I spent 8 hours this past Sunday on the exterior of my mom's Vibe: wash, dry, clay bar, wash again, dry again, Mother's Water Spot Remover for Glass on all exterior glass and finally Mother's 3 Step Ultimate Wax. A long, arduous process, but well worth the results. I did the same treatment on mine back on Memorial Day weekend.
