New owner of a 2005 Vibe M&T

Hello all! I've been poking around lurking this forum now for about two weeks gathering great information. I can say that I finally made my purchase yesterday of a 2005 Lava vibe with moon and tunes! Haven't thought of a name yet but has 107,000 miles on and purchased for about $6,800 before taxes. I'm very excited and thankful for this forum!
Side note, I'm updating the head unit through Crutchfield and have decided on this one:

Crutchfield seems to be a great audio resource giving you all the needed hardware and installation information for free. The only other purchase I need to make (other than the head unit) is for the 4-channel line output converter correct? I'm thinking of getting this one:

Just wondering if these two will be good options for my new Vibe! (planning on keeping the original amp and sub now and possibly updating later on)
