has anyone tried the non AC Delco or Denso ignition coils? How have they held up? How about the fuel injectors? There is a fairly big diff in price with the parts at Rock Auto.

I know with my Old Astro van for example, everyone swears by Delco ignition parts, and for the most i agree, the delco ignition coil and cap rotor do last longer then the cheaper autostore parts.

From watching this site, it seems to me that both injectors and coils enjoy a very low failure rate. For that reason, I would get replacements from the Junk Yard! In the interest of full disclosure, I got my last set of disc brake pads from the Junk Yard. LOL
