I was browsing the front page of Reddit and saw an interesting story about a woman that got in an accident and managed to survive. As it turns out, she was in a Pontiac Vibe, which ended up being in pretty rough shape afterwards.

It's great that she managed to survive what appears to be have been a gruesome incident. Maybe these cars are safer than they look.

I just found this interesting and thought that those of you that don't visit Reddit might enjoy the story.

I read that earlier, and asked the driver to come visit our site.

She was super lucky to walk away with just busing and some cuts from the glass.

The strength of the Vibe never ceases to amaze me.

Glad that it survived so well and she walked away from it. Makes me feel better that my almost 1 year old son is either in my Vibe, his mom's Vibe or my sister's Vibe for nearly all of his travels.

Holy expletive that's bad! It's incredible that the Vibe survived so well. I wonder if she'll join the forum and/or get another.

WOW!! That must have been one hell of a ride. I am happy to see she came out of this O.K. My '09 came with the additional side airbags which makes me feel even safer. This Vibe replaced my '07 Malibu which was totaled after going in the ditch at about 30mph this winter. I never felt safe driving that car in the winter.

Yeah that poor Vibe is definitely TOTALLED She is one lucky young lady Hopefully she reads comments from us here and gets herself another Vibe to replace this one. WOW what a mess ... the Vibe & the girl

Wow that's just crazy glad she is OK....I love how the cabin area is still so intact. makes me feel even better about my vibe since I run it a lot at auto crosses, the Texas mile, and soon at a track day.
