I've seen a 2nd gen. a few times now while driving, so I couldn't get a pic...it even catches my eye from the opposite direction. It's a darker shade than the light blue Matrix color; I would say somewhere between that and Mystic.

Is this the color?



If so, this is Steel Blue Metallic. My mom's 2009 Vibe GT is this color (the one in the picture) and it is beautiful, especially when it's all nice and clean! She actually had a complete stranger ask her about the color a couple weeks ago and say how much they liked it.

I saw a 1st gen yesterday with a color I'd never seen before. Also a blue. A bright blue. Like teal or aqua. Maybe it's not a custom color but I have certainly never seen one. I was going to take a pic (it was at Sam's club) but I couldn't park next to it - it was in a handicapped spot - so I would have literally just been walking up to some stranger's car in a parking lot and taking a pic. I thought it might look strange and suspicious so I am resorting to just telling you guys about it.

Oh! I guess it's not a custom color. It's called "Wave blue" and it was around in 2008. Huh. Well, maybe not "custom" but it should certainly fall into the "something you don't usually see" category.

No, it was neither. It was an '05-'08, and it was not Wave.

My mistake. Since you said 2nd gen in your original post, I was thinking 2009-2010. I'm guessing you meant more like phase 2 of the 1st generation since now you're saying 2005-2008 ?

Yes, it was definetely 05-08.
