starter removal

car would not start today, no click no nothing,,,looks like it needs a starter,good voltage at switch wire at starter,my problem is access to the top starter bolt,,,,would it be easier to remove intake to get to that bolt ,or is there a trick im not seeing ??any help appreciated

no click is usually the battery, did you have the battery load tested?

battery was 12.6,,,and when turned the key got 12.6 at the switch wire on the starter ,,,,,,so yes battery 2 months old
