Im looking to get some HID's for my car does anyone know a good brand?
Im wanting to get the dark blues 10000k I belive? Also relatively cheap nothing over 65.00
Also give me a link if you could, ive been looking on ebay here and there.

Did you want the dark blue color just for looks? Because you know the light output is pretty bad right?

Crazy how cheap HIDs are now, when I got my first pair of philips HID kit back in 2002 it was around $650 lol

Your Vibe is a 03-04 model, right? You need H4 Bi-Xenon bulbs if you want to retain the high beam / low beam function. You will also need a relay kit that has a controller for the high beams.

You could inquire with Thebarber or Keithvibe about the kits they have for sale, to see their prices.

Alternatively, since you're on a budget, I'll find you some stuff on ebay, but the quality or longevity is not guaranteed with the cheaper stuff, so there's no telling how long it'll last. Might be better to get something a little more expensive, and know it won't crap out on you.

That link contains everything you need, but you might want to replace the inline fuse with one that's more waterproof. You can always upgrade the ballasts later if one lets go, that kit is only $37 so it's easy to upgrade whatever in the future, and still stay within your budget. A set of bulbs is around $20 and ballasts can range between 10 and 20$ each, so it's budget-friendly.

Most of the kits for sale on ebay are from China, so there's no real difference in quality between kits. You'll pay more if you buy from reputable brands, but they usually stand behind their products.

Please don't go over 6000k. Your Vibe will look ridiculous and you won't be able to see anything at night.

I love all the "country boys" around this area that have really blue HIDs in their big huge pickup trucks ! I see at least a couple of them a day and they always make me ! Anything over 6000k is useless and looks absolutely ridiculous IMO. /HID rant

yeah anything over 6,000 starts to blue and 10,000 to 12,000 starts to go pink

I generally only run 4300k or 5000k in my lows and usually 3000k fogs.

10k and 12k you really get into the violet colours...

I sell a lot of 8000k+ though, lol

Oh Carrie, I wish I only saw a couple a day. You should come visit me in Arkansas. Almost every guy is a "country boy" with his jack up truck and BLUE HID's. Of course, I don't expect there to be much brain there anyway, but I figured they would get the hint to lower the aim on the headlamps when I blind them with my brights. Idiots.

Not against anyone who has them as long as they are aimed correctly.

I personally think the 4300k is the colour is the best balance, it does not make the eyes get tired easily when driving two lane at night since it has a touch of yellow tint.

I used to use 6000k If you drive a pouring rain on a newly paved highway, you will see absolutely nothing on the road since the black asphalts absorb all the white light.

The more blue the tint the more straining your eyes get and lower light coverage. With higher K colour, the strong bright "white" light gives a very abrupt transition (between illumination area and no light), it even harder to see beyond the "cut off" regions, therefore, you have trouble to tell the depth of the pot holes are.

The lower the colour temperature value the more yellowish the light shine.
Natural sun light is around 3800k which is easier for the eyes can see.
6000k and above gives the "true white" light by having more blue hue than the lower K temperature. They do look cool but in safety/operation point of view, they are not the most optimum .
I did have experience with 6000k for a month, it does shine very good on snow covered road, but in summer night when the road is wet, the light seems to bounce off on freshly paved black pavement and i cannot see the road as clearly. I can only see the white line. Or in the same wet/night situation in construction section with black line painted over the white line , you can easily get confused with the new/old line since the "whiter" HID light gives off a high contrast you cannot tell which line is which.

Those are my experience.

Too bad you'll be living closer to Chicago Ethan, you'd feel right at home here in Sandwich with all the "country boys" in their big trucks with blue HIDs !

VVME.com sells HID's and what not. That's where i got mine and i love them.
