Hello everyone,
I wanted this to be my first post but I posted in the "mileage" post first, sorry. Well my name is Bob and I bought my Vibe GT in Oct. of 2003 with 50 miles on it and it now has over 214,000 on it after 9 years. After all these years I still drive it like I stole it! Its black on black and had it pegged once and it scared the hamsters under the hood so bad I didn't do that again. I have been wanting to talk to other people about mods I can do to it in order to keep it doing longer than the energizer bunny and maybe make it a little faster

and handle better through the curves. If you would like to know anything else, please feel free to ask.

I have an 04 too, got it with 12 on the speed o. As of now I don't have quiet as many miles on it as you do, but still a very fun car. Where you from?

The pic size requirement is too small for the camera on my phone but here she is, this was my last detail job.

Really slick looking vibe! I have to say, I'm kind of jealous haha. Black on black and a GT, plus that body kit. *drools*

Needs lowering (I have some springs for sale in the classifieds section)
Have an intake? If not, get one.
Love the body kit, but have never been a fan of the spoilers

Thanks guys, ppl have been drooling over that since before I got it. I don't want to lower it because there are a lot of pot holes where I live and the water dept. keeps the road crews in business if you know what I mean. I do want to add on some stuff but I am afraid the block can't handle too much.
mac99d where did you get all of your aftermarket "goodies" from? I do want an intake but I am thinking about doing a 3-5 year project of rebuilding a new engine from the ground up, I have a lot of miles on this one and just want to put something back in the 'ol bucket. Thanks guys, I look forward to continue these talks.

Here is a good web site to help you out in case you don't already know about them.
http://www.monkeywrenchracing.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

My car is 10 years in the making and counting.

Thanks DVibe and Psycho, I am driving the wheels off but looking to replace them sometime this year if my budget allows me to. I have proposed a crazy idea to my friends and that is "rebuild the engine" the way I want it to be. It will have to be a 3 to 5 year project because I am a student and my job sucks. But I am ambitious and the sites I have found in conjunction with what Mac99d suggested I am in for a long haul! If I decide to do it, I will have build photos and a huge suggestion box attached. The only thing that is lingering in my mind is that the next accident I have with it will total it. But I will continue to drive it like a madman!
