I wanted to get the silver which its easier to keep it clean but neptune was the last 2003 model in my dealer which had a sun roof,,, which I didn't want it but now I m loving the sun roof. The color is great but very hard to keep it clean... Ohh well loving it

My neighbors think there is something wrong with me beacause of how often I wash my car. They really look at me weird when I have a little photo shoot following the wash.

You too, eh? LOL!Neptune may be hard to keep clean, but remember, darker colors can give off AMAZING shine when waxed and polished!!!!

Sweet! Congrats on the Vibe purchase and for joining us up here at GenVibe. fire_502: haha.. I had to move my 'photo shoot' to a more secluded area (better scenery too!) due to the confused looks from my neighbors during my every other day car washings and photo shoots.....

yes neptune is awesome, but is a major dust collector.........looks like a stealthy batmobile when polished well at night with tinted windows!

quote:Yeah! everytime I want to spent some quality time with my Vibe my neighbors keep getting in the picture.I took my Vibe out to Treasure Island to snap some picks with the SF skyline in the background (thus the sig). While doing so, I got honked at by some passer-bys.It's just sad when people don't understand a nice, healthy obsession. Anyway, congrats on the new Vibe. It may be hard to keep clean, but it will sure be worth it!

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to GenVibe! Neptune does show dirt and dust more than a lighter color, but I love the way it looks when it is all cleaned up. It looks awesome with tinted windows.

You've just got to move to a place where the dust and dirt is darker. In my town the dust is dark blue. My Vibe always looks great!OK, I'm kidding. But think of it this way: If your car never looked dirty, you'd never have the great satisfaction of how much better it would look after spending time cleaning it.KSNeptune

hehehe, yeah I wish there was a place to move....Well thanks for welcoming me and thanks for your coments. I love it when the car is nice and clean, the color itself looks rich. Sunday 27th my car will be 1month old, I got about 3700km... And this weekend will be my first long trip with the car, going north for finishing. I will get my car pic sooner later.
