Does it pop off ? I tried but if it does....its really tight on there LOL. Im asking because when I turn the volume up it doesnt raise if I turn it too quickly. Only when i move it very slowly it raises the volume. The knob isnt loose. If i can get it off & maybe spray some electrical contact cleaner behind the " stem" of the knob maybe that will help. I used to do this with my old home amplifier, when I would hear static when turning the volume up or down, I would shoot it with some electrical contact cleaner & that would clear it up. Might fix my problem with the Vibe radio until I buy a new HU....

There is a very good thread on here somewhere with pics on how to fix the volume knob, I did mine too, not hard to do but the few special size sockets would be nice to have to do it. The fix i am describing is for 2009-2010 Vibes
