While fixing a few things on my 2nd hand Vibe made a video for anyone that may need to complete the same repair to to the door handle or lock assembly. (Especially those in the frozen north). From what I gather the 2003 - 2010 Vibes used the same door handle assembly. The Toyota Matrix also used the same setup. The door controls are Toyota, similar to Camry and Corolla and all use the exact same outer door handle. I was amazed at how easily the items came apart, a very simple design, no special tools needed.

Awesome job on the video! Four months late, but awesome. Three months ago I tore up my door panel, removing it without removing the door latch screw.
Not sure what your occupation is, but you could do this professionally.
