i was curious if there was any way i could figure out the exact day my vibe rolled off the assembly line. i just want to be a lil more precise in saying when my vibe is another year older. i know it was made november of 2003, and i want to find out atleast the week it rolled off the line so i could celebrate it lastin a decade this year. i know, call me crazy for wanting to throw my car a birthday party =p but i love my vibe

There is a website where you can type in your VIN and get a lot of info about your Vibe and other makes as well. Maybe someone here can provide that.

The NUMMI plant used to prepare "birth announcements" for our cars back when it was still open if you requested one. I know many of the members have them. Kind of a neat idea IMO.

Both of our Vibe's "birth certificates" are in our garage threads. So glad I was able to get them before NUMMI officially shut down .

I think if you look at the front of the crossmember, there will be a date. There is on mine, at least. I can't double-check though because I can't remember my VIN and my car's in the body shop

thanks vibenvy, thats a neat site, but it lists my production date as unknown ill have to look at the crossmember to see if the date is there, once i get it somewhere thats not snowy

Wow, that site worked a treat for mine! Build Date: 2008-02-20. I was looking for the full option info like that before I bought it and couldn't find it. Thanks!

Yeah, unfortunately for whatever reason it sometimes doesn't list certain info or it even lists incorrect info i.e. incorrect exterior color, etc. Sorry it didn't work for your Vibe. Let us know if you find anything on the crossmember .

yea, it listed my vibe as white, instead of satilliete silver, and said it had the premium stereo with nav, and all it had was the regular radio with the moon and tunes
