Did some searching, and I found some of my car's history!

It was pretty easy to find out the prior owner's name since he left a ticket in the glove box inside the owner's manual. LOL! My daughter suggested looking him up on Facebook, and I found a few pics of the car on his photo album, so I knew I had the right person. Well, I looked some more, and it is now quite obvious why he had so much stereo and custom equipment on the car, he works at a custom car/audio install business and used it as advertisement.

In some ways it is sad to see it's prior life, but thankfully it was a brief portion and now I have it.

Wow. Impressive. I wish I could find my Vibe's previous owners.

Thank God that poor Vibe was rescued by you Thomas! I am very glad to know that our Vibes have not had any other owners.

Was it a ticket for noise
pollution? :D I have a ritual whenever I part with a car. I go through it with a fine tooth comb, making sure I take everything except what belongs with the car.

No, it was a warning for no front plate. He did remove the front plate holder so I had to buy another one. Got it for about $4 at a salvage yard. The dealer I bought it from just bolted a dealer ad plate directly to the bumper.

I did spend a bit of time removing dead wiring from the inside and the remains of the LED under car lighting they installed (pic on ramps).

I go through the cars I sell also, plus I clean them thoroughly. On the Explorer we just traded I cleaned everything, carpet, mats, and even cleaned the leather seats for the first real time since we bought it. Didn't realize it was a light beige leather! :D But the salesman said it was one of the best trades he's taken in.

I too go through the entire car before I sell/trade/junk it. I always had fun going to the junkyards and seeing the stuff people would leave in their cars .
