Wow.. Just wow. Look what a low price tag will do for you.

Quite a frumpy looking thing but I guess that doesn't turn people off. It's new, it's cheap, it's better than walking.
My top pick in the class would be the Accent which is a MUCH better car, especially from a standpoint of interior design and materials. A heck of a lot better looking too. #2 would probably be the Sonic. That little 500 sure is cute but completely not practical.

Mmm, yeah VersaWAIT... Sonic got SECOND!?

Holy crap, GM made a desirable subcompact car.... I mean, I'd expect top ten, maybe top five, by SECOND? Props, GM. I'm impressed...

If the Sonic were SLIGHTLY more attractive, it would actually make my "list of cars that I wouldn't mind having for daily driving." GM is probably the only "American" brand I actually like, although I still like Toyota, Nissan, and Hyundai a great deal more.

I agree! To me, The Sonic hatch looks great....until you get a look at the rear. WOW, wth happened here? Did the designer die and his pet Chimp finished the design? The Hatch is CONCAVE from the side view, needs to be protruding slightly- ala, VW Golf.
If someone here is gifted in photoshop, please put a VW golf rear hatch on the Sonic and we will see an attractive car!

My pick from that list would be the Spark. It's so darn cute! It looks like a smooshed Vibe or a "baby Vibe" as my dad says

. Unfortunately a Spark just wouldn't be very practical for me on a daily basis

.

I'll drive a Hyundai over a Daewoo if I had to go Korean...

For my taste in styling I think it would be the rio in first, and for so e reason I really like the sonics styling it catches my attention anyway.

I had an 2012 versa sv sedan as a rental a few months ago and was really impressed with it. It had a pretty big back seat with lots of legroom. According to the gauges the car was getting 38 mpg at 65-70 mph.
The base cars are the really cheap ones, but if you want an auto, pw, pl, etc the price jumps a few grand, as most cars do in this price category. I'd honestly rather buy a prius c for just a little bit more it has all the features you would want and get stellar mpg for 19-20k. I couldn't even find a accent hatch or rio5 hatch to even test drive a few months ago their weren't any on the lots at all.
