I did not close my thermas teight enough the other day and had at leasts 2 full cups of coffe, lot's of cream, dump all over my passenger seat. It just soaked right in, even into the top half of the seat. I cleaned it up as best as I could but you can still smel coffe with cream when you get in the car. I can almost pull off parts of the bottom seat cover. Does anyone know if these can be replaced?

The seat covers can be replaced, but it's a big cost...I have an oil stain on my back seat...something I was able to get the odor out of, but the stain remains. Nothing I can do to fix that unfortunately. Sure as hell can't afford new seat covers. There were a couple sets on ebay for a while, but haven't seen 'em there in months.Consider getting the interior shampooed...might be able to remove the odor at least, even if the stain stays...Here's my original thread: http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=4338

when i got my car from the dealer i paid an extra 200 ( i think) and they put teflon coating or something on the seats. If its ever a permanent stain, its under warranty

Dmitri, what dealer? I wish I had that option! Would've saved me so much stress with this oil stain!

Although I have all but the 2 top rear seat portions replaced, I still have all the factory cloth seat covers if you're interested in buying them. I doubt I put them back if/when I sell my Vibe later on. If you're interested in buying them, then let me know. they're sitting in a box taking up space right now.
