Do NOT use Mr. Clean Magic Erasers on the exterior

Post by sebastiancrain »

Just joined the forum, so I thought I'd add something. Sorry if a repost. :)

Anyways, this fact may sound obvious, but if one person benefits then all is well.

I tried using a mr.clean magic eraser on my the hood of my silver 2010 a few years ago (lovebug season in Forida). Little did I realize how abrasive those can be. The marks aren't very noticeable, but if you look at my hood in the right light, you can see exactly where I was rubbing the eraser.

Good to know!

However, sounds like it might be a good way to prep for a repaint.
