Hello all! New vibe owner and looking to get a set of winter tires. Found a set off a Toyota Matrix and I think they will fit.
Wheel size is 16x6 and lug pattern is universal 5x100 or 5x115
Am I right? 205/55R16 Wintercat XT mounted on steelies.
Thanks!

Welcome to GenVibe Smokey

Update your profile showing us your location. Anyways the answer is YES but it depends on which engine you have. The 1.8l will accept the smaller rims & bolt pattern and fit ALL Vibes with that engine, whereas the 2.4L will accept the larger ones and only on 2009-10 Vibes. Post pics of you're Vibe and let us know what you're up to. Again ................. Welcome

Exactly what tpollauf said...
2009-2010 2.4L Vibes & 2009-2013 2.4L Matrices = 5x114.3
2003-2008 Vibes & Matrices + 2009-2010 1.8L Vibes and 2009-2013 1.8L Matrices = 5x100

'06 Vibe steelie is 16 inch wheel with a 5X100 bolt pattern. The 2.4L engine 2009-2010 Vibe/Matrix have a different bolt pattern that will not fit the first generation Vibe/Matrix. Only the 1.8L engine 2009-2010 Vibe/Matrix wheels will fit the 2003-2008 models.
Here's just about everything you need to know about 1st generation Vibe/Matrix wheel sizes, offsets and bolt patterns. (these are the Toyota Matrix wheels, but same measurements apply for both cars)

You are of course correct for the OEM wheels, but the original poster was looking at universal fit wheels with both bolt patterns so they will fit without a problem.
