I'm new to the forum and the vibe all in general. I'm not new to Pontiac's though. Here is a pic of my 09 vibe I picked up a few days ago. Its a 5 speed!!

Welcome! Nice looking Vibe. I can say, you get bonus points for providing a picture AND your location in your first post! The mob is happy. If by 5 speed you mean a manual transmission, lucky you. I wish mine was, but I couldn't be too picky down here in Houston, (very few GTs, and even fewer red ones) plus my wife didn't want me to get one so my kids could easily drive it. But I do miss having one almost every day after driving my 5 speed Mustang for over 23 years.

Welcome to GenVibe! Very nice Mystic Blue Metallic 2.4L Base you've got there ! I see you're in Tinley Park. Although my Vibe was purchased through Gjovik here in Sandwich, they did a dealer trade with a dealer in Tinley Park to get it. Hopefully we will have a Chicagoland meet at some point in the spring and you'll be able to join us. Do you have any modifications planned for your "new" Vibe?

I love that color.

Thank you all for the welcome's and compliments. I drove over 500 miles this weekend due to drill and I couldn't be more impressed. I absolutely love driving the vibe. The 2.4l has lots of more power than my previous car as well as room and technology! I really want to work on the car but I cant help look at the cost of parts and then how many payments that part is worth so it might be a while until some new parts start coming my way.
