WTB: Shift Column Trim Piece 2009 GT

Hey gang. I have my Scangauge II custom installed into the dash but want to try to salvage the equipment. Being said, I need to replace the trim piece to which it is attached.

No junk yards around here have any 09 GT Vibes. Does anyone know of any? A pic of the piece is below:

Since I have not found a junked GT, I have no price reference. Any help would be appreciated. If I have to get the thing mailed from the junk yard, so be it, unless they want too much for the part. I don't want to go the new/dealership route either.

Is your PRNSD plate OK to reuse? If so, there is a 1.8L Vibe near my work that I've grabbed several misc interior pieces from that I could check on for you. Their prices were cheap on what I got before, so I doubt it would cost much. Looks like new that whole piece is like $50.

The 1.8 base shift plates do not contain the extra slot & +/- symbols which is needed if someone actually would want to "manually" shift the automatic. I'm pretty sure I'm correct here. Could be wrong as I drive a true stick shift VibeGT

The PRNSD plate is tip-top. There is really nothing wrong with the entire assembly/piece other than my Scangauge II being "permanently" installed into the little cubby hole above the shifter. Is it too much to ask for you to check on that for me?

If the 1.8 plate will work with the GT setup, we may have a winner.

I wish I bought the manual shift GT, Tim! And you are correct as far as I know.

Well if your PRNSD plate is good, then a that whole assembly from any 09-10 Vibe should work and you can reuse your PRNSD plate. The top plate removes from the silver trim part and I can't imagine they made different bottom parts for the different shifter plates. But I can compare the 1.8L plate to ours and see if there are any differences. I need to stop by there anyway since I want to grab a few misc pieces for mine.

My daughter brought my car back today, so I took a pic:

awesome!

Im not sure what they would ask for something like that; I will put a cap on it and say that if, for some messed-up reason, they want an arm and a leg for it, don't get it. My cap is $35 unless you think THAT is too much too.

I will, of course, pay for shipping and I will give you your finder's fee as well. ;)

As far as my parts, everything is 100%. the white piece is ok, the lettered part is ok, etc etc. I will just be swapping the parts so it is back to stock. The fun part will be cutting out the Scangauge without damaging the unit. Lol.

I can't imagine that it would cost that much, especially from this place. Maybe $20 I think. FWIW I bought the rear cup holder assembly, the console dividers, the side storage compartment in the dash, the XM antenna rubber piece, both "B" pillars inside top trim (around the seat belt mounts) and a few other little trim pieces for about $55.

I'll try to stop by later this week and let you know.

Glad to hear you and trb got it worked out.

I had this piece brand new and I got rid of it a while back because I didn't think I'd ever need it :|. I had gotten it by mistake from GM Parts Direct when I was trying to get the silver shifter bezel and they wouldn't take it back even though it was their fault I got the wrong part.
