I currently own a 2003 Vibe (base model) with 280,000 miles on it. I have the opportunity to purchase a 2005 Vibe (base model) that needs a new front clip. I'm wondering if there is anything that would prevent me from taking the front clip from the 2003 and putting it on the 2005?

Nothing really, aside from bumper, headlight housing colors, an electronic throttle on the 05+ and slightly less power. They also have a one-piece bumper, I think.

What is a "front clip"?
I never was fond of the red instrument panel illumination. That was changed in 2004 already.

By front clip I was referring to the quarter panels, grill, and front bumper. Thanks to all of who have responded.
To DVIBE: I could easily get 300K out of this old girls if I wanted, I've reached that nickle and dime phase but the nickle and dimes are more like the 50 and 100 dollar bills.

Maybe a body shop could advise - they might fit, the car would just have a front end that looked like a 2003-2004. Not a biggie.
