"New" Vibe!

Hello,
I Just bought an 04 Vibe yesterday!!
I bought it from my friend ($3700 USD)who had it handed down from his mother a few years back.
Ever since he got it I was filled with envy (vibenvy haha)
It''s an '04 base 5-speed with Moons and [s]Tunes[/s] (lots of Rockford, Alpine, and Kicker to be put in over the next month or so) just under 88K on the ODO

If you notice this is my 5th post or so, i got so excited when i found out he was selling it I had to sign up.

Has a new clutch but other than that nothing other than oil changes and new tires. I know it has never been to a body shop or anything like that (Perks of buying it from a friend!)

My old 95 Mazda Protege shown on the left, bought for 300$ 5 years ago, now has 190K, no clutch since i bought it, ran on 3 cyl for 5 months, had to pop start it for 2 weeks after the starter went.

My old 95 Mazda Protege shown on the left.............

your Protege looks kinda sad sitting off in the corner in a time out. Looks like a picture of the kids with the forgotten middle kid off in the distance and the new baby taking front and center hogging all the attention.

Welcome aboard and let us know how the new Vibe works out.

Thank you guys!!

Just got it registered today after a very busy week, but worth the wait! Love the way it handles, shifts, feels ect ect

And yes it was priced at the cost of a down payment on a new car so i really got away with a STEAL! :o

The content of this site is fantastic for the small DIY jobs i've always loved to dive into.
A Psycho Martyr did a fantastic job with his carpet thread: viewtopic.php?t=36163" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Which works out great because the first order of business is to deaden the trunk area so hopefully i'll have some vibe pr0n to contribute in the coming weeks. ;)

Hey - welcome. I traded up to my Vibe GT from an '88 Mazda 323 - basically the Protege. And you got an awesome deal.
