faster AWD?

are there any reasonably affordable things i can do to my AWD to give it a little extra pep? i know jack squat about stuff like that

Check out ptuning's Injen CAI & Borla Exhaust (bolt on) Package DealYou might be able to squeeze an extra 20HP with this package.EDIT: Nix that, I just noticed the Borla doesn't fit your AWD. From what I recall somewhere else on these boards, the AWD exhaust piping takes some nasty turns.

it says i cant get the exaust for the AWD. i can't believe they couldnt figure out a way to put an AWD system in w/out compromising the exaust so much. that's why my horsepower is lower in the first place! maybe i should have gotten the base.

You could have a exhaust shop make a custom cat-back for you with a nice Flowmaster muffler and a tip of your choice. Also, you can look into getting a new performance chip for your 'puter. Since the AWD Vibe will not be a good candidate for F/I, I would be focused on making it a really nice audio/video show type car. There's other ways to get respect with your car then just being fast.

its the irs in back that is causing the trouble....the only way i can see routing the exhaust on my/any awd is right next to the differential and using a smaller muffler or using resonator tips..boy, that would be loud!!
