Hi guys, I'm newly registered but still follow the forum since 2008 or about that. (My vibe is a 2008)

So i got this trouble, the blower is running, but a very low flow of air is coming out from the duct even if I put the blower to hi I just heard it louder.
The air seems trapped inside like if a damper is off. This summer I felt it cause it begins to get warm in the car but a/c was running, so I turned the blower to hi and found that almost no air was coming out.

This morning the same happen but the cold wake me :P.

Anyone already got something similar ?

When's the last time you checked the cabin air filter?

The problem is intermitent so I don't think this could be the cabin air filter. This morning every have been fine.

Is it possible that a damper close all alone ?

Effectively the air filter is dirty but not too much at my sense.
I will change it tonight.

Check that the cable for the mode knob is properly adjusted. I had issues with mine being out of adjustment and would leave the damper partially between positions.

The airflow damper is on the left side of the hvac box on the dash (driver's side, crawl under there and look up, you'll see it.)
