Who knew it could be so confusing?

I have a 2005 Vibe AWD automatic with aAC but i never use it.

When I go to the parts site

http://partfinder.veyance.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It asks me for which engine size - apparently there are two. Who knew?

one is 1784cc and the other is 1785cc - seriously. and each has a different part number.

I looked at the car right now and cannot locate where any info exists to tell me which engine i have.

Does anyone know which part i need?

You have the 1ZZ engine. If you have the owners manual it should be listed near the back of the manual.

Select the 1794 cc and look in the far right column. The "Base, VIN (8)" tells you it is the base model, one of the digits in your VIN number (seventh I think, not sure) is a 8.

The GT if you select the 1795cc you get....... "GT VIN (L)" which tells you it is the GT motor, which you do not have.

Looks like you are interested in a Goodyear 4060725 Gatorback Poly-V Belt.

This belt fit my 2005 AWD, but it took some effort to get it around the pulleys, even with the tensioner pulley compressed all the way.

Thank you very much.

By the way is there a schematic or drawing on "how to" install?

thanks

Apologies for the delayed reply-- I'm in coastal CT and just got power back after being out since Monday.
