engine block heater

HELP im from florida & im in north dakota for the winter my 04 vibe has no block heater dealer wants $175 for the part i was looking at bottom radiator hose inline type but the size is a little smaller than hose what kind of styles do other vibe owners use ? any photo"s , any links to where i can buy its cold here allready i have to act befor month is gone, do i need to winterize the battery ? i use mobil 1 10-30 syn oil is that ok for the cold ?

Welcome Paul. I have an in-block style block heater. $50 from Toyota. It plugged into a hole that is already in the block. A bit tough to find, but easy to install once it's found. I can take some pics if you want them.

is it round ? & under air box area? thru a hole ?
