Friend owns a tire shop and loves these.
NATIONAL replacement coverage, low friction, all weather and I got the 215/50/17 for my Vibe.
The difference from 205/45/17 on Michigan roads is a dramatic improvement.
oh and MADE IN THE USA! (Ohio)

Google has nothing on them.
How much, and what did they replace?

They replaced the 205/45/17 like I said in first post....
$481 out the door
They ride a lot better! I will take pics later today and post.

What percent do you figure for the speedometer impact? I think I'll need new tires before we get much snow. The Sumitos that were on the car when I bought it are noisy as heck and are deadly in the rain (as in, you could be dead if you don't slow down). I like the idea of a little more sidewall to cushion the ride.

From when I looked into it 215/50/17s are over the 3% recommended difference in diameter, not by much though, if that is okay with you(wasn't for me). A205/50/17 size is fine if you want a 50 aspect ratio.

Road noise is WAY down, bumps cut in half if not more for sure
As for speedometer I figure yeah 3% but I do speed limit or plus 5 most of the time so should be okay..... I guess I could have it re-calibrated somehow? I am unfamiliar with that area.

Looks good! I do not think there is an easy fix when a speedo is off - then again most of these 2009-10's seem to have inaccurate speedos anyway! Mine registered a constistent 3 mph higher than what I was really doing almost across the entire range of speeds. I suggest using a GPS (borrow one if you need) to check against your speedo and then when you know how far off it is, drive accordingly.

Thats a great idea, I have GPS on my Android but probably not as accurate as a TomTom or similar. My dad has one so may have to borrow his.
