We had a great time last night! Houseofbugs joined us with his 2010 HHR SS Turbo, but he didn't enter it in the Cruise Night so I wasn't able to get any pictures of it .

Nice Carrie. Nice pics of the Vibes BUT where are all the participants hiding? Looked like a nice small meet. Maybe I can make the next one!

I've got some pics but I have to get them off my phone. I'll post them soon. By the way... Guess who got a flat tire last night in Yorkville. This guy. Hit a pot hole and blew the whole side of the tire out. Took me 20 minutes to change it because I had to disconnect my system to get to the tire.

Thanks Tim! It was a good time for sure. It was a small meet unless you count the 736+ other vehicles that were there !

Eric, that sucks about the tire ! Was it raining while you were changing it? It rained on me off and on on my way home, so there went my nice clean Vibe . At least you didn't get pulled over by a golf cart ! Can't wait to see your pictures!

Yes it was raining but I found a gas station to pull into to change it. I'll post the pictures when I find my phones data cable.

Remember how I was telling my wife that every time we go out it turns into a $100.00 night? That number went to $250.00 today.

Well, at least you didn't have to change the tire out in the rain. The wheel didn't get damaged did it?

LOL! I guess you jinxed yourself by telling her that. Man, that sucks though. What a crappy way to end a great day .

Rim was fine but there was no saving that tire. You should have heard it when it popped. It sounded like a shot gun going off. Scared the h e ll out of me, the wife and the poor older couple next to us. Oh well.... It's only money right?

Been there, done that. Check out this thread. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't just the tire . Thank goodness for insurance.

You blew a hole in the rim?!!

I'm pretty sure I ran over some sort of surveyor's spike or something. I didn't see anything in the road, but when I hit whatever I hit... it almost sounded like an explosion. I knew the tire was going to be trashed, but I didn't realize the wheel was decimated too until I took it off the Vibe to put the spare on .

Anyway, just thought I'd share that to make you feel a bit better about your mishap last night. It could be worse . Hope you get the Vibe back to normal as quickly and as painlessly as possible.

Oh, and I don't know about everyone else, but I had to use a razor blade and WD40 to get that d amn little MCN sticker off my windshield ! Of course having to use my wipers last night on the way home probably didn't help .

Mine came off with no problem. Just peeled it off and wiped it down.

Nice pictures Eric! I like the rear shots of the Vibes ! I guess we were all too busy chatting and checking out all the other vehicles to take too many pictures of our Vibes . I wish I would have taken some at Big R, but we all left in a hurry and it totally slipped my mind. I'm still sad that I didn't get any group shots with Tim's HHR . How did your other pictures turn out i.e. GT-R?

Yes he had a great time, he was the one to pick out the GTR too when we walked by it. It was fun explaining to him about rat rod style, ghost flames, gassers, tri-flow carburation, and he did know already about turbos and superchargers.

We were talking about a possible Drive-In meet out here by me sometime before the end of October. I'll keep you updated.
