Sm art Fone w/ v@ryzun?

I was looking at internet options and wondering if anyone had a sm art fone with vryzun. (spelled wrong deliberately so no ads or spammers!) Do you have the 2 GB plan? A salesperson tried to push the jetp@ck the other day (blah, blah, blah...) and I was like so...I have to pay DOUBLE what I'm paying now AND have to carry 3 devices around everywhere? Jetp@ck, sm artfone, computer.
My tech-savvy friend said the 2 GB plan was what he has with his Ann Droyd, and never goes over the 2 GB limit.
I do not have a sm artfone yet; my phone is having a long, drawn-out death and its replacement is inevitable. I have a $50 loyalty credit and was leaning toward the Eye Fone for it's educational app$, but my tech-geek friend said to get the Ann Droyd.
What to do...

We've had verizon android phones for almost two years, and have never gone over 2G of usage on each line, but I have unlimited usage so I don't worry about it much. Mine is a basic 3g model, so my data usage is mostly email and maybe 5 min of internet a day, plus I sometimes listen to the internet radio, but that does not use up a lot. And is this the share everything plan you are looking at? If so, you can easily up your data plan during the month if you are running close to the 2G amount and it is cheaper than the overage charge. They have an app that tracks your usage and that way you know where you are in relation to your 2G limit.
Edit: my son has the same phone as I do, and all he does is check email and limited internet. He's only used more than 150mg during a month once in the past two years. Unless you get addicted to using the internet all the time or download a lot, 2G should be plenty of data, but you can easily up your allowance if you needed it.

Thanks! I had a $50 credit and $50 rebate so it was like free. I got Ann Droyd Ray Zir. It will take me months to figure this thing out.
And yep, watching that usage ap like a hawk, and try to limit my browsing to places with free WiFi!

LOL! My wife and daughter both have that phone. My wife likes it for the Kindle app since she can actually see the text on it! But no way she would ever figure it all out. We still have to show her how to do things on it and fix it for her.

I'm looking at the new M version possibly to upgrade hers and then I can get her old phone.

So I had to hunt for a large kitchen appliance for the tenants. I put "Ann" to work, and got the exact one I researched for the US price! Now where's a touchdown dance smiley when I need one?

Avast or Lookout Mobile (probably recommend Lookout over anything). Lookout also provides lost phone protection and basic backups.

Ok...done.
One more question: I'm trying to sync my edu email, but droid is asking if it's a "POP3", "IMAP" or "Exchange" and I have no idea what to choose. Or should I have checked it as 'corporate' account?

That's a tough answer because it could be any one of the three. How do you normally check it?
