Just bought a set of 2 7.5 W (5 led's) 9006 for my fog lights, it's 8000k to match my hid headlights and it looks great. Next to my vibe is my friends Mazda protege5 with the same HID kit in it.

If you're interested in a set of new fog lights, you have to buy bulb 9006, not 9005 as some will tell you as it wont fit in your car.
This is for the 2005 model year, I don't know what's needed on the new generation.

could i get a link to where you picked up your hid kits, i appreciate it man

Other than looking great, does this make a practical improvemnet in night vision?

It sure looks great and that - I have to admit - is the main reason I bought the set but I do think it improves a little bit because white reflects better on reflective surfaces such as stop signs than the halogen yellow. Another advantage is it only needs 7.5W per fog witch is a great improvement (every Watts matter) . Now if you are looking for great night vision, I suggest you go for a set of 35W H.I.D conversion kit for both you 9003 headlights and your 9006 fog lights. If you don't know the color you want for the H.I.D kit, I suggest 6000K because it's legal and it's even more powerful than my 8000k.
Any questions on lights ? That's my strength
