Looks a little bland with stock black wheels. I prefer wheel covers to alloys here in Wisconsin.- less upkeep, expense.
I'm planning on bright chrome covers such as these "CCI IWCRD-16 16 Inch Clip On Stainless Steel Racing Disk Hubcaps" on amazon.
Or maybe Stainless steel full moon racing disks?
If anyone has a Silver Vibe over chrome covers please post a picture with your reply.
Or even if you have just seen such a set-up, please post and let me know if it looked good.
I know the chrome WHEELS all look great....but covers?
My pic shows that my Vibe is a SOLID Silver color.

Are you sure you don't want alloys? I've got a set I need to get rid of. Regardless of that, I did a quick Photoshop chop with the full-disk wheel covers

Would you mind Photo shopping two more wheel cover choices on my vibe? I can't get it done on the freeware I downloaded.
I'm not sure how hard it is to do this, so no worries if you have more important things to do.
btw, the look of those full moon racing covers is growing on me!

Not a problem! I even threw in two suggestions of my own.

If you are interested in the stock bolt on wheel covers, I have the set from my son's 06 that we don't need. 3 are in pretty good condition, and one has a few scratches on it from a high curb I rubbed against. I can make you a good deal on them and the special lug nuts too if you need them.

I like the look of the first three wheel cover choices. #4 looks too formal for me.
I would like #3 best, black wheels and chrome rings, if the stock wheels didn't have the multi-hole Tonka wheel look! If only they looked like stock S-10 Chev slot rallys! Oh well.
I think #1 & #2 both look great. Maybe I'll poll the forum, but which do you prefer?
Very nice job Kitt, I'd like to do this for myself next time. What would I call putting tire pictures on car pictures?
I'll submit pictures when I install the wheel covers I choose. it'll probably take a week or two.

If I go with the black wheels and chrome trim rings, I'll try to find better looking steel wheels that will fit the Vibe, maybe even 17 inchers!

You're welcome! All I did in Photoshop was highlight and erase the white bits that came with the photo of the hubcap. Then I sized it down, placing the bottom of the hubcap where the rim ends and tire begins. Awkward to explain. But I don't think there's a real name for it.

And I loved how it was done.

The J_TO_ENVY 2nd generation silver / silver picture looks excellent! I had not considered painting the stock wheels, This opens new possibilities.

Actually, it was motoretro who posted that picture .

When it comes to wheel covers, I prefer the look of OEM ones because they tend to look nicer and not as "cheap" as most aftermarket ones. Last year I actually ordered brand new OEM wheel covers (same as in the above picture) for our winter steel wheels because I couldn't find any aftermarket ones I liked the look of.

They are the OEM wheel covers that came on 2009-2010 Vibe 2.4L Bases and AWDs. These Vibes, along with 2009-2010 GTs have a different bolt pattern (5x114.3) then all 2003-2008 Vibes and 2009-2010 1.8Ls (5x100) though, so unfortunately they won't fit your Vibe.

My chrome wheel covers look great on my silver Vibe.

I knew Chrome wheels would look awesome!
Also, the double-spoke design looks great on the Vibe.
