I got my mid spoiler a couple days in the mail. Its the one i bought from TRDVibe. So..I needed to get it painted and installed. It was satilite, i needed shadow. i went to a few places, they quoted me almost $400 and $200 for paint and install. then i went to good ole Maaco. I have heard mixed reveiws about them...but they only wanted $150 for paint and install. hopefully its not one of those "you get what you pay for" situations... I was happy at first, but now i am getting skeptical. Guess ill find out this weekend when its done Ill post some pics when i get it back. Keep me in your prayers, LOL.

I got my folks truck fixed and painted by them last month. I backed up into a light pole pulling out of a parking lot. yes, i was on my cell phone . dealership wanted $1100, the nieghborhood body shop wanted $900 and MAACO won at $600! It looks pretty good too.

Just keep it waxed, that's all I have to say. Maaco will do a good enough job initially, but without proper care it won't last too long. My parents had their car painted several years ago by Maaco, and while it still looks fairly good, they don't wash it often and haven't waxed it. Consequently, the paint is coming off the fenders.

sadly, I too have heard nothing but bad things about Maaco around here. When it comes to paint, you truely get what you pay for Good luck, there's always times when things do work out afterall :D

I think you may want to add some coats of clear on it. I think they just add some kind of additive in the paint. wouldn't take too much to just clear coat it on the car.
