Anybody ever get a wet Vibe passenger floorboard?

I'm not talkin' moist, I'm talkin' sopping, squishy wet! I'll vacuum it out, and it'll come back at different times/circumstances. No open windows, not always when my air conditioning is on. Any ideas? Thanks!

Only two ways if it is regular water, ac drain is clogged or there is a leak somewhere. If the AC drain is clear, then it would need a water hose to try and determine where it is leaking. I had a car that leaked at a weld seam in the firewall under the dash and would drop water into the computer relays, stopping the car from running. A damaged windshield seal could also result in a leak.

Had the same problem! The condensate line from the A/C unit disconnected and the whole passenger side floor board was soaked!!! Pulled the Passenger seat, put the tube back on and shopvac'ed the carpet used some cleaner, used the shopvac again and now running a box fan on it when I'm home. What a mess. Mine was only water make sure it's not anti-freeze because that is even a bigger of a job fixing the heater core

If you look in the bottom left corner of the passenger floorboard against the firewall, you'll see a draintube for the ac condensor. This may have come unattached or is backing up because of a blockage.
If it's blocked you can 'swab it out' from underneath the car. If it's detached but put it back on with a zip tie for the future.
Good Luck.

I had this same problem, AC draintube came off. I had standing water in my passenger floorboard. All it takes is putting your foot in the right spot to knock it off, recommend reattaching with hose clamp to prevent from happening again.

Pull the passenger seat out and have a look.
It's 4- 14mm bolts and a plug for the seatbelt light

is it for sure with the ac?
i know under the drivers side floorboard, there's a big rubber stopper, which is the only barrier between a wet road and the floor inside. a few years ago, i may have bottomed out or something and the stopper wasnt there. i didn't notice until i found a ton of water in both the front and back left side floor. had a lot of vacuuming to do.
check the passenger underside, just to be safe. i'm sure there's the same rubber stopper on that side too.

Just had the same problem. It is definitely the A/C tube! I destroyed my xbox from almost 1" of standing water. If you look under your passenger side you will see the tube disconnected. It comes off really easy. I put a zip tie around mine. It ain't coming off anymore.

Yes! Mine ended up being the sunroof drain having a glob of dirt blocking it. Cleared it & it was fine ever since. Good luck!

Well I checked it out, and it was the A/C line! What a dopey place for an unsecured water line. My wife wanted me to take it to the mechanic or a body shop to get it fixed, but I said HECK NO. I'M GOING TO GENVIBE.COM! THEY'LL KNOW! Thanks to all for their words of wisdom!

No problem and yes it is a horrible place for a A/C drain line. I hope you put a zip tie on it so it wouldn't do it again?
This site is great. I just figured out on this forum why my HVAC makes a clicking sound. Took about 1 1/2hrs to fix and saved me almost $300.00.
