Question Re: Toyota Celica seats

Has anyone ever considered, or put, Celica seats in their Vibe? I know some people on MO did, but information is scarce. There were talks about having custom mounting brackets made, but I'm wondering about a few things, such as the seatbelt and the airbags, the seat rails, and the equipment located under the seats.

I've found a nice set of 2000 Celica seats for $75, and I'm tempted to get them, but not if the swap would be a major PITA..

As always, your input is appreciated.

What might you need to know? I've got access to an 03 Celica. I could measure things out for you.

If you've got the time, that would be great. Mostly, if my Vibe's seats are all cloth and there are no plastic bits on the side, or no hard bits or lumps inside the sides of the seat, it means no airbags inside those, right? Secondly, do the seatbelts match up?
As both the seatbelts click into the side of the seat, there shouldn't be a problem there. Knowing the bits of metal look alike would be good / close enough for me. As for the rails, I've seen them on the pictures and would need to get them modified to work, but at least everything needed comes with the new seats.

The seats will have an "Airbag" tag sewn into the seam or embossed on the side of the seat if they have them in the seat. And the seatbelt latch should be able to unbolt from the seats and swapped if they don't match the belt in the Vibe.

Thanks for the info, I just checked and there's no indication that there are airbags. Also, the seatbelts have the bolts you mentioned. I think I'm gonna jump on this deal while it lasts, and have some brackets machined. Shouldn't be more than a couple hundred dollars, and the seats are in great shape.
