I removed my cars interior for two reasons, run amplifier install and clean the nasty carpet. While I have everything out, should I do anything else? Once back in I plan to never redo.
Thanks!

If you have the $$$ I would say sound dampening. These cars NEED it LOL.

That's exactly what I was going to suggest. Also. possibly run some conduit chases from the front to the rear for any future electrical mods. This way you won't need to fish any wires the old fashion way

I was thinking about it, I saw a thread by Water Boy where he used roof sealer from home depot but what worried me about that was car smelling since it gets real hot where I am at.

other than sound deadening, not really.
When I had mine out tho, I actually cleaned the carpet up really well,
then used Duplicolor Vinyl/Fabric Dye to dye it all black.
Interior looked BRAND NEW.
I also did the outside edges of my seats (dark grey) in the black to pull the colors together for a stock black look
Here's my carpet when I pulled it out:

Here it is cleaned up and the LEFT side is dyed:

If it's asphalt-based I would pass on that roofing stuff. The off-gassing (fumes) have the potential to become quite bad. I would focus on the butyl-based stuff, but you get what you pay for to a degree... and maybe some Mass Loaded Vinyl Barrier for noise reduction. Personally, I like this stuff...
