"I'm not sure about you guys, but I am personally holding off purchasing an intake till they are made for the Supercharger." That's what I said before, but now I am wondering: Other than the apparent angle change (50ºish vs. straight 90º) of the throttle body, does it move at all with the engine placement? I wonder this, because of all that changes is the angle of the interface, then it would be very easy to hook up all current intakes to the supercharged TB with just their rubber sleeve. Is this thinking flawed? I would love to get an intake ASAP and reap the gains, but if it won't work with the SC, then I am not gonna go for it.I did some photoshop work (hope you don't mind ne using your engine cover pics, Nova) and started out with the stock position then 50% opacity for the supercharged, then 100% superchaged. From what it looks to me (minus the slight difference in sizes) the TB looks to be in the same exact place.Can anyone from GM clear this up for me? (Jeff?) I think it was previously decided that we would all need to get new intakes, but after seeing this, I am not so sure. Post opinions, I want to hear 'em!

First, it's cool to see a supercharger in my engine compartment. I hope that's a reality soon!Second, I think there is no question that an aftermarket intake will need to be modified to fit the supercharger. However, as you can see in the above pic, I have no problems modifying my Injen intake. What's a little more cutting when it's in half already.

Well, I guess I can see that :DI'm just wondering how much it would have to be modified, there isn't a whole lot of cutting room with a short-ram. Mb I'll just make a DIY intake for the time being and work that out ...Unless of course someone magical wants to find out from someone at GM that all they do is change angles, or wants to tell me this directly using my phone # which is convinetly placed in my profile in a written out form ...

I had a question in this area of throttle body and SC. So I have a throttle body spacer and I want to get a CAI this summer, but if I supercharge later on, is that going to mess up the cai and throttle body spacer?So far my I know I will have to cut a inch off the CAI pipe to fit the CAI in now with my throttle body spacer, but what mod's do you have to do with a SC install to fit the cai and throttle body spacer?
