Recommendations for sunroof track grease?

My sunroof has started making a bit of noise when I vent it as of late, so I have decided I am going to give the tracks a thorough cleaning and re-grease them. I was wondering what everyone uses/recommends for grease for the sunroof tracks? Thanks in advance.

I don't think my sunroof has ever been re-greased. My hands still get all greasy though when I touch the tracks. Google says white lithium grease might work.

The grease that's in there from the factory is yellow

So are my "transparent" floor mats...
Lithium grease is recommended from various other forums for sunroof maintenance.

Any chance that this recent condition is due to the sunroof glass/frame being replaced? Just sayin
It was quiet prior to them messing with it and now it's making noise!

Alrighty. Guess I'll pick up some lithium grease then.

No, it was actually making the noise off and on before it was replaced. I just kept forgetting to check into what grease to use.

How'd this work out Carrie? Mine makes a horrid noise and always has since I've owned the car. Though, it only does it when its really hot outside. At night or in cooler weather its quiet. My bet is on more grease as well.

Mythbuster Jamie Hyneman(sp) would most likely suggest lard as a good lubricant.
Most others suggest white lithium, which can yellow with age (contamination). I used white lithium every year on my sunroof on the Sunfire. Never gave me an issue. The frame on the sunroof glass rusting did though. Lol
