Did GM and or Toyota change the oil capacity on the 1zz-fe motor to 4.4 up from 3.9 qts? I read this on the T-SB-0134-08 July 15, 2008. I never got the memo

it was changed a while back. Essentially it is just a dipstick with a higher set of marks on it.

A few of us did it and there doesn't seem to be any ill effects. Others have just maintained a level above the stock marks based on pictures of those who have done it. I think i bought mine for $12 shipped from a dealer when i got it 6 months ago.
