FUSE/RELAY PROBLEM

Many thanks to anyone who may help me identify the power problem i'm having.. While doing the DRL mod I must have shorted something out, I currently have and do not have the following:

NO DRL which was desired, NO instrument cluster, NO power windows, NO turn signals, NO blower/AC motor
YES to everything else!

I am guessing I blew a fuse during the install?

BTW I reversed the mod, reconnecting the snipped wire from DRL module back to original state

Thank you.

Do your brake lights and the 100V AC inverter still work?

and what model year is your Vibe?

2003 Base Vibe

Brake lights do work, AC inverter does not

FYI.. I chose to splice a rocker switch into the Red/Wht wire coming out of the DRL relay during the mod. I did however restore to original state.

Then it sounds like you probably blew the 10A GAUGE fuse in the under dash fuse block. You probably also want to check the 15A TAIL fuse there also, but power from the GAUGE fuse will activate relays associated with a lot of things, including the turn signals, the inverter and the power windows, but would not affect brake lights.

It was Gauge 10A! Thank you for the help 'joatmon'. Just glad it was a simple fuse, though I suppose I wasted a few hrs scratching my head.

Any thoughts on why the fuse blew out? I was thinking after, that it was probably the cheapo $5 Autozone rocker switch..
