DRL to fog light mod and HID

Finally had time to do this mod, changing the DRL to fog lights instead, disable automatic headlights, and added HID's to low and high beam. After the mod, the fog lights are completely independent, so I can turn the fog lights on or off under any condition at any time providing the car is running. I'm not sure if that's normal but I'm ok with it. Now I can just leave the fog lights switched on all the time acting as DRL, turn on the low beam at night and become completely stealth if I wanted to. Please click on the picture to view the complete picture. I am in the midst of installing a aftermarket deck and bypassing the factory amp, will post a thread when done.

I'm guessing those are 8000K HID's? Looks good.

I followed the method which is outlined in this thread:
viewtopic.php?t=31176" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but for some reason my result came out to be a little different to what they are getting, which I didn't mind at all. The only reason I can think of is because the DRL module I used came out from a later year Matrix and was not the original one from my Vibe.

The one on the left is the original one I pulled from my Vibe and the the on the right is the one I modified whcih came out from a 2004/2005 Toyota Matrix, and as you can see, the part number is different.

And they are actually supposed to be 6000K hid's but you're right, it does look like 8000k from the pictures, lol. But at $45 a pair, I don't really mind.
