New to the site and looking to join a club of people that love Vibes!!! I bought mine brand new in 04'. It's a base model 5 speed with a complete body kit (oem) for 22k. Since then I have installed my own system, ACT 4 puck clutch and wheels. Thank you for allowing me to join this organization.

I'm still trying to figure out how. I only have a couple at the moment but it's saying it won't allow that big of a file.

Try using an online picture hosting site like photobucket. Or you can shrink your pic down using paint.

I think I got it now but I can't figure out how to make the image smaller. For now... Here it is. My 2004 Vibe Sport 5-speed with the factory upgraded packaged (wings and body kit). 18" Excel MR7 Wheels with 225/40 R-18 Tires, ACT 4 Puck Clutch, PIAA windshield wipers (love them), Kenwood head unit, 1 JL Audio 12W3 in a custom ported enclosure (I built) 1 Kicker ZR 600 and 1 Kicker ZR460 amplifiers, MB Quart components up front, MB Quart coaxil mids in the rear doors and one optima battery.
After years of savings and now that the vehicle is completely paid off coming soon will be a 1zzfe turbo kit, magnaflow exhaust, 1.5" eibach springs (already purchased) tinted windows, fix the broken front ground effects and if anything left over random badges. I will post as it comes together.

Welcome to GenVibe! That's one sharp looking Vibe you've got there

! It's great to see another Chicagoland member join! Now we definitely need to get a meet together because I want to see this Vibe in person! If you're on Facebook, be sure to join the GenVibe group on there and feel free to add me as a friend. We're wanting to get a Chicagoland meet setup for some time during the summer so keep an eye on the North Central Forum on here

.
Oh, and as far as the "Vibe Sport", I am thinking it was probably just a dealer installed thing. I used to own a couple Pontiac Sunfires and this was very common for dealers to do with Cavaliers and Sunfires. They would install factory ground effects or wheels or something similar and then throw some random badges on the vehicle to try and make it seem more special then it actually was (not trying to put your Vibe down or anything, just explaining where the "Vibe Sport" probably came from). A good example is a Cavalier z22; according to GM it was never an actual model designation for Cavaliers, but a dealer would install Razzi ground effects on a Cavalier and call it a z22. I'm sure since your Vibe had the GM ground effects and spoilers, the dealer just figured they would try and jazz it up even more by calling it a "Vibe Sport".

Yeah. I kind of figured that the dealer did it. I didn't see anything different then it having everything that GM offered for upgrades to it. Thank you for allowing me to join this group and I am totally in for a meet in the Chicagoland area!

Welcome ...................... FINALLY

Are your gears/synchronizers still good in the tranny? Several 03-04 5-speed manuals had serious tranny issues. Sharp looking Vibe and another Midwesterner

Visit often and get involved here. Also, join us on July 7th in Erie Pa. for a HUGE Vibe meet.

Nice looking car, and love the list of mods to come. Word to the wise my ACT 4 puck did not last very long due to street driving hope you have better luck.

No tranny problems and the ACT clutch is holding up really well. If the tranny fails I already have someone set up to repair it.
