It did turn out with 'waves' in it...they dont bother me. I used the spray cans and didnt go all out with the Wagner Paint gun. The garage was open and took breaks between each can.
I'll take some daytime pics tomorrow.

Some day time pictures would be great. Did you primer first? or just let it buck?

No problem...it can peel right off with no damage to the paint! Its not permanent and may only last about 12 months or so, depending on conditions.

No primer, just washed it well and dried it.

Plasti-Dip is a rubberized coating. Similar to the rubber coating on tool handles. This is just an unusual way of using it!

I've been waiting for someone to PDip a Vibe. Well done! You could use a headlight restoration kit, and make it look that much more awesome. How much Plasti-Dip got into the door jams and in the panel gaps?

Very interesting! Wonder how it will hold up under the sun and at highway speeds...

What's up Pooler viber! I've lived in both Savannah and Rincon... those summers always did a number on my decals! It will be interesting to see how that paint job holds up. Definitely will stand out against the rest of the vibes down there! You went all-out man, you even painted the rainguards! How come you left the roof rails silver?

My opinion; some of you guys are going nuts on the Plastidip. Not a fan at all. I do not like this AT ALL.

Actually, not that much, as I used it straight from the spray can. I started using the restoration kit on the drives side headlight. I might have to go to the next step, as it is only a slight improvement. You can still see a small dofference in the two though.

Yes sir! Its cooler in Pooler, lol! I didnt want to run out of product and I'll probably just clean them up and leave them silver.

We shall see. I'll keep everyone updated on how it holds up.

Thanks Jimmy.
Not my cup of tea, but as long as you like it that's what matters.
On a positive note, I really like your garage floor. Gives me an idea for my garage which is bare concrete.

Yes sir! I have Race Deck flooring installed and I love it! The garage is the home for my 2003 Corvette, the Vibe only sees the garage for maintenance.

If I had to choose between garaging the Vette or the Vibe I'd choose the Vette too.
Hope there aren't too many jaws dropping right now

That's pretty cool... My wheels are starting to look tired. Was thinking of doing them with plasti dip for the summer.

Ultimately it's your Vibe and as long as you like it, that's all that matters. With that being said, I'm not a fan. It just looks like it's primered which to me looks crappy. It will definitely be interesting to see how long and how well it holds up though.

LOL! Settle down Ethan

!
I can see using it for smaller things like grilles, badges, etc. but something like this is pretty goofy IMO.
I may use some if and when our grilles and lower rear fascias start fading, but other than that I don't plan on jumping on the PlastiDip bandwagon anytime soon. Nothing against it. It seems like a great temporary product, I just don't have any desire to use it on our Vibes for anything.

I think you should do another light coat and try to get rid of the waves.
shouldn't take much and would make a HUGE difference. I had to do this with my spoiler.
Also, spray some tire shine foam on it nd watch it shine
side note:
watch out for some chemicals not being compatible...
I used a certain brand tire shine and it made the P-Dip look like
