Throttle Contoller

Has anyone installed a throttle controller? I found some posts on them over on Toyota Nation and the guys there seem to love them. I've found 3 manufacturers that make the controllers for the 2zr-fe engine (Pivot, Blitz, Weapon R) but of course none of them have a Vibe listed. Any help would be appreciated!

Throttle Controllers are a waste of money.
They change where the ECU thinks the throttle pedal is. So when you push the pedal 50% it opens it 60%, making the car go faster with "less" effort on your part.

That's exactly what I thought but I read all these rave reviews on it so I looked into it more. Apparently there is a delay in opening the throttle on drive-by-wire setups. The throttle controller removes the delay (depending on what setting you are using) which results in quicker acceleration. There are seriously about 30 reviews on TCs over on the Toyota Nation forums with each one saying it was the best mod they have ever done. I think that if a TC really only lets you press the pedal less than these guys wouldn't have talked it up as much.

From the reviews on ToyotaNation it sounds like it does exactly what it clams to. I think this is the thread you are talking about.

It's nice that it's adjustable. The ones I was looking at several years ago, had static numbers build in to a module.
I've been happy with the throttle mapping in my car, so this product isn't for me.

Please know that this product will not reduce you're 0-60 times. Mashing your foot to the floor with this product vs without will have the same result, Wide Open Throttle.
