Well I have a 2003 vibe 1zz with a supercharger and cold air intake, I just bought a set of 380cc injectors that are supposed to fit, but I did notice they don't fit into the donut snugly, I also noticed they don't have that black piece of plastic on the end to make them snug with the donut.. anyways I don't want to install these and have a massive fuel leak.. my question is do I need to find diffrent donits or the black piece of plastic??? I'm not sure what to do here any help would be appreciated
Okay, well after digging and looking around i found out it's called the pintle cap, i only found 1 place with the item instock that looks similar.. I have a few emails out not sure if i will get response's anyways i guess if anyone knows were i can get these caps i'd appreciate it...

http://injector-rehab.com/shop/Denso-Le ... 8-Cap.html is the right cap but i have had no luck on anyone confirming this nor do i even know if that site is trust worthy.

odd, going to have to check some of the injectors I have. i don't think any of them had them, not even my stock ones that were pulled out.

My question is why are you putting them in? As long as your 5th injector is working correctly it shouldn't be a problem. Are you running another type of engine management other than the TRD?

It has stock injectors, I believe the sc kit comes with larger ones but they were never installed... so I'm just upgrading from the old injectors, and yes I believe my 5th injector is working fine, and no not yet I'm still running trd for now, once I get everything I need injectors ect... I will check into a diffrent type of engine management other than trd.

The SC kit doesn't not include bigger injectors and they are not needed if you are using the TRD Piggyback. Now if using another piggyback (Greddy. AEM...etc) then you should upgrade the injectors because they don't use the 5th injector. 380cc/min is a bit large but they should work.

Well soon I will be looking for an alternative to the trd.. I don't really like it, anyways yeah the injectors a bit on the larger side.. I just plan on building the car to around 200hp... my next step is the fuel rail and regulator.. then I havnt really decided from there.. its just everything cost money so I can't do it all at once gotta do one part at a time..
Oh yeah I guess I don't need the pintle cap the fuel rail holds them down and it seals against the donut

FYI I have an AEM FIC for sale. Also when you say 200hp are you meaning at the wheels or Crank? You might be able to get 200hp at the crank (about 180whp) with the TRD SC but that would be a push. When you start overdriving (using smaller pulleys) these little TRD SCs they get very inefficient and will fail sooner.

200 at the crank.. well as of now the vibe has CAI, SC, magnaflow catback, hi flow cats up front stock ones blew out... the sc is going to be rebuilt soon, thanks for the info.. ill prolly not push the sc to hard... there's always other ways of adding more hp I guess.. 2zz swap?

Here some info on the TRD SC:
http://corolla9.com/index.php?/topic/79 ... ley-specs/
The point is you can go to a 2.3" pulley without changing the belt or have any issues. Any smaller and things get ugly. Also the is a mod for the Air Bypass Valve (ABV) that will give you more boost. But doing it with the TRD Piggyback may cause some issues but every car is different.
Is your car a M/T or A/T?
