Projector issue today - dr. side won't stay on

Happened last night, the drive side projector turns on for a few scond than turns off.Checked my battery connections and the headlight connection so next step is pulling of the bumper Any else with Keiths projectors see this before?

The type of projectors you have doesn't make a difference.I have retrofitted headlights in my Honda, and when a bulb turns on and goes out very quickly.. the bulb is burnt out. Swap the bulbs and you will probably notice that the passenger side will now go out. If that happens, then you know for sure the bulb is bad.

keith -- i have the 1st gen of the projectors. I originally had 8k but bought a set of 6k a couple years ago.I tried swapping out the bulb with one of the 8k working bulbs and it didn't work. Checked my connections and reset them. Didn't see any cuts or bad grounds. passenger side still works, halos work too. The light flicks on and then dies. repeats if i try again. would a defective controller (black box) cause this issue?

pull back the rubber boot on the light controler and unplug it from the wire harness. Check for corrosion. See if you can swap the light controllers from one side to the other. If the problem switches you know the issue.

how would i go about getting another controller? Do you have spares I can buy?
