AWD is way kewl!

I got my first sample of the AWD in my ride. I was driving thru a parking lot that had a dip in the pavement. The pass. side front tire was off the ground (for a split sec) when I felt the rears kick in.Does that kick in on hard cornering too? I was a little differnet from the AWD systems I'm use to (5-spd WRX had a almost 50/50 split when slipping).
