Help access rear seatbelt inertial reel?

Does anyone know how to open up the back seat to gain access to the middle seatbelt inertial reel on a 2003 vibe. It is the middle seatbelt and it has become stuck and I cannot retract it. I tried removing the two visible screws but there is some hardware that I have no idea how to remove?

Not sure. Only thing I know how to do is remove the seats. And the thing you pull up on to fold the seats down is threaded....unscrew to removeNot much help, but it may be easier to mess with if the seat is out

4 Bolts on the bottom of the seat that you have likely already removed. Then remove small plastic 'access panels' on the back of the seats to access 4 more bolts. May have to fold them down to see.

I just realized that you're trying to take apart the actual seat, not just remove it from the car. This thread may help.http://forums.genvibe.com/zerothread?id=17056Gives instructinos on removing the plastic from the seat back.

Thanks, for the advice. However, you are correct, I am trying to take the seat apart. Basically split it in half. I cannot figure how to take the screws off the back of the seat. I need to access the middle of the seat to get to the seatbelt initerial reel located in the top middle of the back seat. Once I get it open, it should be a matter of resetting the seat belt...I hope. But I would prefer to leave the seat in the car, I have no need to remove it.

According to the diagram in that thread above. The screws are under small plastic access panels that you have to flip up.

Thank you sideshowalan! Once I had the diagram I realized I could pop off the seatbel trim piece. Then it was just a matter of pulling and letting the belt retract a bit. It finally just loosened up and is now fixed. Having our little kids in the back is the reason for the tangled seatbelt. Appreciate your help.
